Certificate Courses
The courses require prior completion of the BASI Pilates Comprehensive Teacher Training Course, the BASI ProBridge course or a similar program from another recognized teacher training organization.
Each course provides an in-depth education in a specific facet of Pilates. Highlights include the Mentor and Master programs of BASI founder Rael Isacowitz, which represent the highest level of Pilates study.
Course graduates are awarded a certificate from BASI Pilates and are well qualified to practice in their chosen area of specialization.

The BASI Pre-and-Post Natal Teacher Training Course will include current information on pre-and-post natal development, care and exercise gathered from scientific research and interviews with doctors, midwifes and physical therapists. This course will provide Pilates professionals with an array of exercises they can do with this population during the various phases (trimesters) of pregnancy and the postpartum period, providing them with thorough explanations of the anatomy of pregnancy, birth and the postpartum body, including how and why each has such a profound effect on exercise selection and modification. The course will give teachers not only the resources and tools to work with pre and post natal women on the mat, Reformer, Cadillac and Wunda Chair, but the ability to create strong programming that is tailored to each woman.
The mission of the BASI Pilates Pre and Post Natal Teacher Training Program is to not only educate Pilates professionals on the anatomical, emotional and mental needs, demands, changes, concerns and abilities of pre-and-post natal women, but to empower Pilates teachers, giving them the knowledge to teach with clarity and confidence, from which they will empower the pre and post natal women they are working with. Course manual is included and participants receive a certificate of completion.

This course is the second, and final, phase of Ultimate Pilates, Rael’s voyage of discovery to the extremes of the Method with the most accomplished of his colleagues and students. The Master Program introduces a level of the repertoire that Rael has never previously taught. Attention is given to teaching, cueing and methodology, but the main thrust is the in-depth exploration of master-level exercises that have seldom been part of any teacher training curriculum.
