BASI Pilates® is dedicated to education. The company does not manufacture Pilates apparatus or manage multiple Pilates studios; its sole function is to ensure that every student who graduates from one of its courses has received the most in-depth and complete Pilates training possible.
BASI Pilates education covers two broad areas:
Every graduate of a BASI teacher training course has the opportunity to participate in regular higher education workshops and to pursue post-graduate specialization in specific arenas in which Pilates is utilized.
A BASI education spans all learning environments, from one-on-one teaching to group sessions, and includes the highest quality manuals and workbooks available, plus DVDs and a one-of-a-kind online resource. BASI graduates are lifelong members of an educational system that is continually growing, expanding and renewing itself.
